Dave is very imaginative and I appreciate his approach to shooting. He's definitely one of the coolest photographers I know! No matter what happens, we always have a great time together and get some pretty rad pictures in the process. I consider myself pretty lucky to get to work with Dave on any project he dreams up and always look forward to the next time we can collab.
The Super Happy Fun Club was totally down for anything and the energy they brought to set really influenced the style of the shoot. It always makes me super stoked to work with a client or talent that just trusts the process. Amen to that!
Finally, I had a chance to put all the years of face painting talent I acquired (that's a whole interesting story for another day) to work on this shoot. I gored up a bunch of animal masks I purchases in New York with bruises, bumps and cuts. Super gnarly. I included some fun shots from my iPhone. Can't wait to peep these photos soon- they are going to be used in some exciting ways.
